How it works
The business funding application starts with a phone conversation. Call (803) 220-1486 and tell us what you need: equipment for a Congaree Vista restaurant, a line of credit for a Harbison Boulevard retailer, or cash flow for a contractor working the Midlands build-out. We ask about revenue, time in business, and what the money will do. Then we match you to lenders in our network and submit your profile. You see term sheets from multiple sources, compare costs side by side, and choose the one that makes sense. No pressure. No games.
Qualifying
Lenders want proof your business generates cash. Gather your last two years of business tax returns (1120, 1065, or Schedule C). Pull three months of business bank statements. If you're buying equipment or real estate, bring the purchase agreement or invoice. For SBA 7(a) loans, add a personal financial statement and a simple one-page summary of what the loan will accomplish. Columbia deals move faster when the paperwork is clean. We review everything at our 3790 Fernandina Rd office or over the phone before it goes to underwriters.
We submit your application to lenders who fund deals like yours. Some specialize in working capital, others in commercial real estate or equipment financing. You'll hear back within a few business days. If a lender says yes, you get a term sheet listing the loan amount, repayment schedule, and every fee. We walk you through the numbers. If the deal doesn't pencil, we tell you. If it works, we help you close. The whole process takes anywhere from a few days for invoice factoring to a few weeks for SBA programs.
Applying costs nothing. You're not locked in. Many Columbia business owners use us to see what's available before they commit to a specific project. A fabricator in Cayce wanted to know his options before bidding a state contract. A medical office in Irmo explored business lines of credit six months before expansion. Getting matched to a lender and reviewing terms gives you leverage and clarity. If the funding doesn't fit, walk away. We're brokers, not lenders. We succeed when you get a deal that works, not when you sign something you shouldn't.
